Position: Art Teacher

Location: Rising Star School, Hinjawadi

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Art Teacher to join our academic team at Rising Star School. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching art to students, fostering their creativity, and developing their artistic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art lessons in accordance with the curriculum.

- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.

- Utilize diverse teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.

- Guide and mentor students in their artistic and personal development.

- Assess students' performance through projects, assignments, and exhibitions.

- Encourage students to participate in art competitions and exhibitions.

- Maintain up-to-date records of students' progress and achievements.

- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students' performance and needs.

- Participate in professional development programs to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or a related field.

- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree preferred.

- Valid teaching certification or licensure.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching art at the school level.

- Strong knowledge of various art techniques and mediums.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to inspire and motivate students to explore their creativity.

- Commitment to continuous professional development.

Working Conditions:

- Full-time position with standard school hours.

- Participation in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities as required.
