The purpose of this role is to lead the immediate design team members and creative work with focus, commitment and an ever-increasing knowledge of all things design and art. Realises concepts and big ideas with a dedication to producing the highest caliber of creative product.Job Title: Art Director:The Opportunity and Key ResponsibilitiesThe India Experience Creative Studio is one of Merkle\xe2\x80\x99s Global Experience Design Studios based inBangalore. The Design Crew works on strategic & innovative, crafted experiences for products andservices delivering high quality branded creative solutions that are user centric and deeply human.As Art Director, you will partner with cross-functional team members and work closely with theAssociate Creative Director \xe2\x80\x93 Visual Design and Global Creative Directors to create impactful brandeddesign concepts, interfaces and interactions for our global clients and design innovative productaccelerators that add value to our client partners.The role is based out of Bangalore and will require close collaboration with Global Teams. We arelooking for someone who will have a strong understanding on brand, brand guidelines, visuallanguage, design systems, style guides, prototyping and an eye for detail.Formal design education & portfolio is mandatory along with 10+ years of experience.Skills & Expertise

• Strong visual design skills and understanding on user interfaces to use visuals as a solving aid.

• Strong interaction design skills with the ability to create robust prototypes and interactive storytelling narratives.

• Good understanding on all visual design elements \xe2\x80\x93 typography, color, icon development etc.

• An eye for great details and string visual problem solving skills.

• Great attitude and excellent communication skills (comprehension, verbal and written).

• Prior experience working with Global brands and teams is an added advantage.

Experience & Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and an open to learn mindset.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree OR higher in design (BDes, MDes, BFA, MFA) from accredited Universities.

• 10+ years of visual/ UI design experience preferably in an agency and consultancy environment.

• Design portfolio with UI design/ design systems is mandated.

Tools & Platforms

• Experience with FIGMA, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Cloud.

• Working knowledge of other key software and tools relevant to the industry
