Job Summary:

Art and Craft Teacher

to inspire and guide students in their artistic development. As an Art and Craft Teacher, you will create and deliver engaging lesson plans, teach a variety of artistic techniques, and foster a positive environment for self-expression. The ideal candidate will have a passion for art education, strong artistic skills, and the ability to motivate students to explore and develop their creative abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging art and craft lessons for students of various age groups (e.g., children, teens, or adults). Teach a variety of art techniques, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and craft activities like pottery, knitting, or paper crafts. Create and maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing their creativity. Demonstrate various art techniques and guide students through hands-on projects. Assess and evaluate students' work, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Encourage students to explore their artistic potential and develop their personal style. Prepare materials and ensure the availability of necessary supplies for all art and craft projects. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe art studio or classroom. Organize and participate in art exhibitions, competitions, or other events to showcase students' work. Promote an understanding of the cultural and historical significance of various art forms. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and achievements. Stay up-to-date with new trends and techniques in art and craft, incorporating them into lessons. Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to integrate art into cross-curricular activities.
