: We are seeking dedicated and experienced lecturers in Arithmetic and Statistics to join our esteemed faculty team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in their respective fields, with a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a stimulating learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver comprehensive lectures and practical sessions in Arithmetic and Statistics, ensuring alignment with the college's academic standards.
• Lesson Planning: Create detailed lesson plans and course materials that facilitate effective learning and understanding.
• Student Assessment: Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
• Research and Development: Engage in academic research to stay current with advancements in the field and integrate new knowledge into teaching practices.
• Mentorship: Provide academic guidance and support to students, assisting them in their educational and career pursuits.
• Professional Development: Participate in continuous professional development and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Msc (Stats), M.com, M.sc(Maths)
• Experience: 2 to 4 years of teaching experience in a higher education setting, preferably at a degree college.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Arithmetic or Statistics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Screening Process:

• Written Test: A subject-specific exam to assess proficiency in Arithmetic or Statistics.
• Proficiency Test: Evaluation of skills in MS Office and other relevant tools.
• Interview: An interview to assess teaching philosophy, experience, and fit with the college's values.
• Teaching Demonstration: A mock class session to demonstrate teaching abilities and subject knowledge.
