JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ASM

Career through the owning :

Area Manager should be able to manages sales within his defined territory. Area Manager is

responsible for achieving sales revenue through generating orders by meeting the key stake

holders / decision makers of the hospital and ensuring the supply by utilizing the channel

networks in accordance with the company policies. Area Manager should take the initiatives

towards the execution of the best practices in the territory . Owning the territory , business

and the customers must be the priority to meet the company's expectations .

A Day in the Career :

Achievement of volume and value objectives along with achievement of key products

objectives for both primary and secondary numbers from the assigned territory of Mumbai.

The territory comprises of Key Accounts , Corporate Accounts and Mid-Size Hospitals .

Successful launch of new products by right execution and implementation of the strategies

in the area.

Ensuring periodic validation and maintenance of customer/account data . Share those

details with the supervisor based on the timeline set by the organization .

Maintain Core costumer relationship to ensure continuation of business.

Ensuring implementation of promotional strategies & utilization of inputs while keeping

HSIL policies in mind. Focus on the customer engagement activities like education programs

for the customers like Drs, Nursing Dept , Purchase Dept and also Channel network.

Ensure effective distribution by proper channel management. Appoint the new channel

partners in the territory based on the need of the territory . Also ensure the channel

compliance towards HSIL policies which should be completely adhered.

Liaisoning with the Channel Partners , Supply Chain and Finance dept to ensure smooth

supply . Need to share the forecast with the supply chain for the consistent supply of the

products .

Must Have - Minimum Requirements

Bachelor in Science / Commerce .

Minimum 4-5 yrs sales experience in Concept Selling/ Medical Device Selling is Mandatory.

Experience of Distribution Management.

Willing to travel extensively.

Nice to Have

Strong Interpersonal skills, with focused People/Customer/Result orientation.

Understanding the market and also the complexities, competition, customer preferences

and taking initiatives to resolve any customer's issues .

Adhere to the values lie commitment , Transparency and Integrity to achieve the

performance goal .

Ability to prioritize and execute as per the needs of the business and the current set of

challenges.

Strong analytical skills (to understand local markets and customer needs) in order to

develop region specific plans, strategies and tactics.

Ability to response and improvise the business model if the current model is not yielding

desired results.

Government Business Acumen for GEM/Central and State Govt/ Army Institutes.

The ASM is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-

workers. So should have the presentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
