Designation : Manager / Sr. Manager - ProductionLocation : Pollachi (Coco pith Unit)Expected Joining Date : Immediate Joinee or 1st May'24CTC : Gross Rs 40k to 50kRole & responsibilities:1. Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing costs.2. Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of production supervisors and workers to achieve production targets and maintain high standards of quality.3. Monitor production performance metrics, analyze data, and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance productivity and efficiency.4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among production staff.5. Collaborate with other departments such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to resolve production-related issues and drive continuous improvement.6. Implement and maintain best practices in lean manufacturing, 5S, and other production methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste.7. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of production staff.8. Manage production schedules, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.9. Drive initiatives to improve product quality, reduce defects, and enhance customer satisfaction.10. Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in production management.Preferred candidate profile1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.2. Proven experience in production management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.5. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.6. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.7. Proficiency in using production management software and ERP systems.8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.9.
