Our team in Mumbai currently has an opening for a Area Sales Manager

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

ASM is responsible for all activities related to selling of product and sales administration, stocks & debtors management, cost control, as well as the profit and loss of his key accounts.

The purpose of the role is to manage Techno commercial sales, after sales services & new business development in West and North India and achieve the gross profit target, to support the growth of Food & Nutrition business unit of Brenntag India. This would be a client facing role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieves optimum turnover/profit according to the agreed budget and RBT (result before tax) by ensures that the annual sales plan is achieved in accordance with the established sales objectives and strategies.
  • Generate revenue from existing customers & products as well as acquire new customers/products to support the growth of the business unit.
  • Manage stocks for the current business & plan for the new business.
Liaise with the customers for the purchase orders and ensure timely order processing & dispatch. * Keep the customer informed about any update/changes regarding dispatch schedule, materials etc.
  • Update the CRM with the details regarding client communications/sales activities on daily basis.
  • Conduct face to face meetings with the key customers on a regular basis and resolve the queries of the assigned customers.
  • Generates and keeps updated a marketing plan for relevant products by identifying key customers and products for the business evaluating the size, nature and trend of the market monitor competitors activities recommend objectives and strategies for various suppliers and their products.
  • Responsible for timely collection of payments from the assigned customers.
  • To conduct plant trails on own or along with technical team.
  • Coordination and teamwork.
YOUR PROFILE

Education:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemical Science / Food Science or any related field.
  • Master\'s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing would be an advantage
Experience:
  • 8-10 years in selling and marketing of chemicals in Food Industries.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Leadership and good communication skill
  • Accustomed to working in an international environment.
  • Enthusiastic, self-initiative and aggressive
  • Goal oriented
  • Ability to operate PC.
