Job Title: Area Sales Manager - General Trade - FMCG
Job Purpose:
This position will overlook the sales contribution through the General Trade channel in the given area.
Job Responsibility:
1. Delivering Sales Target assigned to Zone/Area
2. Delivering Sales Volume Primary and Secondary target assigned to the Area
3. Meeting Infrastructure targets
4. Meeting Distribution expansion targets
5. People Management - Maintaining a conducive professional relationship with all business partners - Handling a team of Sales Officers (on roll) and driving the towards sales objectives
6. Managing Team - Keeping them motivated, providing guidance, monitoring performance
7. Driving Local sales promotion schemes, Visibility campaigns and new product launches
8. Monitoring Budgets and utilizing the same to optimum level
9. Managing Depot - ensuring proper claim management, handling compliance issues
10. Analyzing competition scenario & reporting the same
11. MIS reporting
Skills/Qualifications:
1. MBA
2. Must have handled a team of Sales officers and front-line sales representatives
3. Must have experience in consistently excelling in Sales, Infra and Distribution related Metrics
4. Channel exposure - Must have handled General trade, Standalone Supermarkets, Wholesale Channel
