The ASM will oversee sales operations, manage a team of sales representatives, and develop strategies to drive market penetration and revenue growth in the assigned area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of the OTC and FMCG markets, and a proven track record in sales management.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy and Execution:Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in the assigned area.Monitor sales performance and market conditions to identify opportunities and challenges.Adjust sales tactics and strategies based on market feedback and data analysis.Team Leadership and Management:Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure they meet performance expectations.Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales team members to enhance their skills and productivity.Conduct regular performance reviews and set individual sales targets.Customer Relationship Management:Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.Address customer needs and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.Collaborate with customers to develop joint business plans and promotional activities.Market Analysis and Reporting:Conduct thorough market analysis to understand customer preferences, market trends, and competitive activities.Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations.Promotional Activities and Brand Building:Plan and execute promotional campaigns to increase brand visibility and sales.Work closely with marketing teams to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives.Ensure effective merchandising and product placement in retail outlets.Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes and industry standards.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a management role in the OTC and/or FMCG sectors.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading successful sales teams.Strong understanding of the OTC and FMCG markets, including distribution channels and key players.Skills:Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned area.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in launching new products and managing large-scale promotional activities.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in the OTC and FMCG sectors.Demonstrated ability to build and sustain long-term customer relationships.
