Area Sales Manager (ASM) - Guwahati
About the Role:
VTR Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive sales and business development in the Guwahati region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the plywood or WPC industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
• Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
• Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives (if applicable).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the plywood or WPC industry.
• Strong understanding of the Guwahati market and its key players.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
