We are looking for a result-driven and experienced
Area Sales Manager (ASM)
to lead and manage our field sales team in South Gujarat. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the pharmaceutical sector, a solid understanding of sales operations, and a proven track record of achieving targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of Medical Representatives in the assigned territory.
Plan and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, chemists, and stockists.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
Conduct regular field visits, joint working, and team reviews.
Ensure proper product knowledge and training for the sales team.
Submit timely reports and MIS to management.
Ensure effective coverage and penetration in the South Gujarat region.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical field sales.
Previous experience as ASM or Senior MR in the South Gujarat area preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and people management skills.
Ability to work independently and travel extensively across the region.
Good understanding of pharma marketing and territory dynamics.
Qualification:
Graduate in Science/Pharmacy or any relevant stream.
MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.
