:
As a Sales Executive in the apparel market, you will be responsible for generating revenue through field sales and telecalling activities. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual with strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in apparel sales, experience in building client relationships, and a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Sales Activities:
Client Acquisition and Visits:
Identify and target potential customers, including retailers, corporate buyers, and individual clients, within assigned territories.
Conduct client visits to present product offerings and provide tailored solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
Showcase apparel products to clients and provide recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to close sales deals.
Ensure timely delivery of products and address any concerns promptly.
Market Development:
Expand the company's customer base by exploring new business opportunities in untapped markets.
Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
Telecalling Sales Activities:
Lead Generation and Cold Calling:
Generate leads through outbound calls and follow up with potential clients to schedule meetings or close sales.
Create and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers, ensuring consistent follow-ups.
Customer Relationship Management:
Handle client queries, complaints, and feedback over the phone.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales progress, and feedback.
Upselling and Cross-selling:
Promote additional products or collections to existing customers.
Inform clients about discounts, promotions, and new arrivals to drive additional sales.
General Sales Duties:
Target Achievement:
Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets through a combination of field sales and telecalling efforts.
Reporting and Analysis:
Provide regular updates on sales activities, customer feedback, and progress toward goals.
Prepare and submit sales reports to management.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies that align with company goals.
Share insights from the field and telecalling efforts to refine sales approaches.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in sales, with a preference for experience in the apparel industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively to achieve sales targets.
Familiarity with CRM tools and basic knowledge of MS Office applications.
Willingness to travel for field sales and flexibility to handle calls during varied hours.
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of fashion trends and apparel products is a plus.
Previous experience in both field sales and telecalling is highly desirable.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
