Role Overview:
The Area Sales Executive will focus on driving sales and expanding the presence of Ziel Lubricants' industrial products in the Chennai region. This role involves building relationships with industrial clients, understanding their lubrication needs, and providing solutions that meet their specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales and Market Development:
• Identify and target industrial clients such as manufacturing plants, heavy machinery users, and automotive facilities.
• Develop and implement a strategy to expand the business within the Chennai region.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Client Relationship and Technical Consultation:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their lubricant requirements.
• Offer technical advice on product selection and usage to ensure optimal performance.
• Market Research and Feedback:
• Stay updated on competitor activities, industry trends, and customer needs in the Chennai industrial market.
• Provide management with insights to enhance product offerings and sales strategies.
• Collaborative Promotions:
• Work closely with channel partners and distributors to drive awareness and promotional campaigns.
• Participate in technical workshops, industry seminars, and product demonstrations.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Document all sales activities, customer communications, and insights in the CRM system.
• Submit detailed sales reports and forecasts to the regional manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of sales experience in industrial lubricants or related technical sales.
• Strong technical understanding of industrial lubricants and their applications.
• Familiarity with the industrial market in Chennai is preferred.
Skills Required:
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Technical knowledge of lubricants and industrial applications.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
