We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Area Manager for LEAD Group\xe2\x80\x99s Publishing business. The Area Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships and expanding our customer base in the assigned territory. The candidate should possess excellent negotiation, client handling, key account management, and relationship building skills. Additionally, strong problem solving abilities, analytical skills, and data orientation are essential. Proficiency in using computer applications such as Excel, Google Office Suite, Word, and Powerpoint is required. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver on assigned targets, ensuring successful achievement of sales goals
Understand school profiles, target audiences, and product offerings to effectively position our solutions
Develop new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing deals with schools for K-12 print and digital resources
Cross-sell products to existing customers and identify and build relationships with new prospects
Follow through the sales process from prospecting to fulfillment, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage
Nurture and maintain relationships with schools to drive repeat business and foster long-term partnerships
Continuously expand the school base by identifying and engaging new potential customers
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities, including seminars, workshops, and product launches
Develop sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth and achieve targets in the assigned area
Establish and manage efficient distribution network to improve sales performance and ensure timely product delivery
Conduct market research to understand competitors, market trends and gather information on competitor activities in the territory
Manage and update prospect and customer lists in the CRM system, ensuring accurate data entry. Generate reports and utilize CRM data for informed decision-making and sales strategy
Foster strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and customer loyalty
Organize training programs, meetings, and sales activities to train and onboard new dealers for our products
Provide feedback to the product team on existing product portfolio, customer requirements, and market insights
Focus on personal and professional development through continuous learning and skill enhancement
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required; MBA or postgraduate degree preferred
Minimum 2-4 years of relevant B2B experience for graduates, and 1-3 years of relevant B2B experience for MBA/post-graduate candidates
Proven track record in sales, business development, or channel management
Strong negotiation, client handling, and key account management skills
Excellent relationship building and problem-solving abilities
Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data effectively
Proficient in using computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Suite
