• Oversee and monitor the seed production area to ensure reliability and quality.
• Allocate the seed production program among vendors at the location based on historical performance and potential evaluations.

Field Production Activities:

• Implement and monitor field production activities with vendors, growers, and other stakeholders.
• Document and prepare for process audits related to Seed Production, CSR, HSE, and compliance.

Reporting and Compliance:

• Prepare and share periodical reports on seed production updates at the location.
• Ensure seed production, HSE, and CSR activities align with policies, procedures, and protocols for the respective crop.

Staff Training and Motivation:

• Motivate and train Field production staff on SOPs and policies to achieve planned targets.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure area and grower achievement on time in line with specific field crop requirement
• Execute the specific crop field agronomy strategies to achieve defined quality and quantity
• To identify and manage grower level technical issues in his area of field production
• Execute department SOP\xe2\x80\x99s for achieving full compliance and functional excellence in key areas
• Coordinate for the plan, basic seed & other non-seed material to be received at location as per the need
• Generates effective communications, good relations, and a positive image with internal stake holders, suppliers and co- workers, promoting teamwork
• Identify and initiate corrective action of non-conformance in documentation and processes
• Comply with all Health, Safety, Environment, Security and CSR policies of organization and drive down the line and also ensure timely reporting of related information

QualificationsExperience :

• 5 to 10 years working experience and extensive knowledge in Corn seed production
• Good interpersonal, communication skills and stakeholder orientation
• Experience to build strategic partnership with vendors, growers and internal stakeholders
• Knowledge in seed production scheduling, planning, and tracking
• Must possess working knowledge of computer. SAP knowledge is added advantage.

Qualification :

• BSc. Agriculture or MSc. Agriculture
