The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on achieving sales targets, developing business strategies, and managing a team of sales representatives effectively.Responsibilities:1. Sales Leadership:- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned area.- Monitor sales performance and provide guidance and support to the sales team to ensure objectives are met.- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with business goals.2. Team Management:- Recruit, train, and coach sales representatives to ensure a high-performing team.- Set clear objectives and performance metrics for the team and conduct regular performance reviews.- Provide ongoing support and motivation to foster a positive work environment and encourage professional development.3. Customer Relationship Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders in the assigned area.- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.- Identify opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share through effective relationship management.4. Market Analysis and Planning:- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.- Develop territory plans and budgets based on market insights and sales objectives.- Monitor and report on market dynamics, sales performance, and competitor activities to senior management.5. Compliance and Ethics:- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including ethical standards and promotional guidelines.- Promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior within the sales team and uphold the company's values and reputation.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field.- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.- Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and product knowledge.- Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned area.This position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced and challenging environment, with potential for career growth and advancement within the organization.
