We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction, prevention, and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people.:Job Title: Architecture Sr. AnalystThe Clinical DevOps area supports Clinical ITs testing schedule for Cignas large customer products. Currently, these include HealthEView (health coaching application), DReAM (incentives application) and UM/CM (utilization and case management applications). These applications give Cigna a competitive advantage and are key to Cigna's revenue stream.A successful candidate will provide hands-on application database administration to support Clinical ITs testing environments used by the multiple groups within the area. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 4-5 years of database experience.Job Location: Hyderabad, IndiaMajor Duties and Responsibilities:

• Migrates database code across multiple test environments
• Develops and supports automated data migration routines
• Maintains the database source control environment in Liquibase
• Creates / maintains user ids in all non-production environments
• Assists developers with DDL / DML requests
• Reviews database code and recommends performance enhancements
• Troubleshoots database issues
• Works on multiple projects simultaneously, which span multiple application releases
• Work with peers and application developers to understand, test, and implement new ORACLE functionality

Constantly looks for process improvement opportunities * Proactively builds and manages strategic relationships across Care-Tech IT and other support areas within CignaQualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 4-5 years of solid, diverse work
• Solid experience with Oracle PL/SQL, PostgeSQL PSQL and Microsoft SQL Server TSQL
• Solid experience with Oracle (Version 12c, 19c), PostgreSQL database, Microsoft SQL Server and mySQL databases
• Deep understanding of Amazon AWS databases such Aurora, RDS and DynamoDB
• Experience with automation of database deployment processes using Liquibase for On-Prem and Cloud such as AWS databases
• Hands-on experience with Database Performance related issues for Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server and AWS Aurora databases
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud.
• AWS cloud experience with some of the core services S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager, EC2, IAM, VPC.
• Core code production for AWS Infrastructure using Terraform.
• Experience with UNIX Scripting
• Experience with data architecture (indexing, statistics, data structures, etc.)
• Experience with data modeling
• Experience with user provisioning
• Knowledge of automation concepts
• Requires excellent planning, conceptual, consulting, analytical ability and logical thinking.
• Comfortable with multitasking and working in a matrix environment
• Ability to work as part of a high performance team in a fast paced environment.
• Strong customer focus, continuous learning, strong technical aptitude, self-motivated

Desired, but not required:

• Oracle XML types (xpath, xquery, xsd)
• LOB management
• Data migration imports / exports
• Software Architecture background
• Data warehousing concepts
• Database / AWS certifications is a plus but not mandatory
