About the Job

As an Architecture Intern for a 6-month term, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting the design and planning process of various architectural projects. Under the guidance of senior architects, you will participate in drafting designs, preparing presentations, conducting research, and collaborating with teams. This internship offers an opportunity to develop practical skills and deepen your understanding of architectural design and project workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Support and Drafting
• Assist in developing design concepts based on client requirements and project briefs.
• Draft architectural drawings and 3D models using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
• Prepare sketches, diagrams, and presentation materials to support design proposals.
• Research and Analysis
• Conduct research on materials, building codes, and design trends.
• Assist in analyzing site conditions, zoning regulations, and environmental factors.
• Prepare reports and summaries based on research findings.
• 3D Modeling and Visualization
• Create 3D models and renderings to visualize design concepts.
• Assist in preparing VR walkthroughs and visual presentations for client meetings.
• Update models based on feedback from the design team.
• Presentation Preparation
• Support the creation of client presentations, mood boards, and design portfolios.
• Compile images, diagrams, and materials to effectively convey design ideas.
• Assist in preparing reports and documentation for design reviews.
• Project Documentation
• Assist in preparing working drawings, plans, sections, and elevations.
• Help maintain organized records of design files and project documents.
• Ensure drawings and documents adhere to industry standards and guidelines.
• Site Visits and Observation
• Participate in site visits to understand construction processes and site conditions.
• Document progress and gather information to support design adjustments.
• Take notes and photos during site visits to assist senior architects.
• Collaboration and Team Support
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and other design team members.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and team meetings.
• Assist in coordinating with external consultants and vendors.
• Learning and Development
• Continuously develop technical and design skills through hands-on experience.
• Seek feedback from mentors and incorporate it to improve your work.
• Stay updated with architectural trends, software, and sustainable design practices.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or related field.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop).
• Basic understanding of architectural principles, drafting techniques, and building codes.
• Strong visual and communication skills for presentations and collaboration.
• Attention to detail and a passion for design.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?5,000.00 - ?7,000.00 per month
