Responsibilities:
SMTS SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER



T HE ROLE :
As a member of the Radeon Technologies Group, you will help bring to life cutting-edge designs. As a member of the GFX IP Architectural Modeling team, you will work closely with the Architects, IP Design, Software and Infrastructure teams, and product engineers to achieve first pass silicon success.



THE PERSON:
A successful candidate will work with senior silicon design engineers. The candidate will be highly accurate and detail-oriented, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills.



K EY RESPONSIBLITIES : • Functional Modeling and Development of GFX IP Simulators
• Multi-Chip Functional Modeling and Respective Driver Programming
• Middleware Driver/Firmware and Hardware Interface Protocol Development
• Runtime Profling and Debugging Tools
• Pre-Silicon support to ensure successful silicon bring up

P REFERRED EXPERIENCE : • Domain Knowledge: GFX IP fundamentals, Shader Programming
• GPU Scheduling mechanism,
• Performance Models using C/C++,

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: • Bachelors or Masters or PhD in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
