Role: Architectural Design Coordinator Qualification: BE in Architecture. Experience: 10+ years Reports to: HOD Civil Job Overview: review and prepare drawings and estimates for building or landscape designs. They must coordinate with engineers, planners and architects to ensure that plans and designs adhere to federal and state regulations Responsibilities and Duties Selection, coordination and layout of various aspects of design (vehicle maintenance equipment, site flow) Submittal, shop drawing, and RFI review Conduct construction field observations Other design / engineering tasks as assigned Evaluate, select and apply architectural techniques during all phases of design, including the resolution of complex technical issues in both individual and collaborative scenarios Upload materials for review to designated platform Pre-review Master Plans per design guidelines and forward to developers for review Customer service and attention to detail are the primary focus of this position Assist in developing program materials and process Serve as the point person for all facets of the Architectural review process Key skills required Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process Demonstrated graphic presentation skills Experience in the areas of urban design, private development & TOD, transportation, aviation, hospitality, healthcare, educational, civic, science and research facilities
