Overview: As a Junior Architect, you will work closely with our senior architects and design team to contribute to the creation of innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing architectural designs. Your role will involve assisting in the development of architectural plans, collaborating on design concepts, and participating in project meetings. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within our dynamic architectural firm. Responsibilities:
- Assist in Design Development: Collaborate with senior architects and designers to develop architectural designs from concept to completion. Contribute creative ideas and solutions to design challenges.
- Drafting and Rendering: Utilize CAD software to produce accurate architectural drawings, plans, and 3D renderings. Ensure that all designs meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research on architectural trends, materials, and construction techniques. Analyze site conditions and local building codes to inform design decisions.
- Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating project activities, including meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Documentation and Presentation: Prepare presentation materials, including drawings, diagrams, and presentations, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Review project deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. Participate in quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of design excellence.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and best practices in architecture and design. Seek opportunities for professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop).
- Strong design sensibility and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or work experience in architecture preferred, but not required.
