Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Architect to join our team and play a key role in The Heritage Project. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in heritage conservation, architectural design, and project management. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage sites, ensuring they remain integral parts of our collective history.

Responsibilities:

1. Site Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of heritage sites to understand their historical significance, architectural condition, and preservation needs.

2. Design Development: Collaborate with stakeholders, historians, and conservation experts to develop design proposals that integrate modern functionality while respecting and preserving the site's heritage value.

3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international heritage preservation regulations, obtaining necessary approvals and permits.

4. Project Management: Oversee the execution of architectural plans, coordinating with contractors, artisans, and other professionals involved in the restoration process.

5. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of heritage sites, including historical records, architectural drawings, and conservation plans.

6. Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality and heritage preservation standards.

7. Community Engagement: Foster community involvement and awareness about heritage preservation, collaborating with local communities to ensure their input is considered in the restoration process.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

Proven experience in heritage conservation projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful restoration work.

In-depth knowledge of architectural design principles, historical preservation, and conservation techniques.

Proficiency in relevant software tools for architectural design and documentation.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with diverse stakeholders.

Familiarity with heritage preservation regulations and best practices. Passion for cultural heritage preservation and a commitment to RPG Foundation's mission.
