Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect specializing in light layout to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design with a focus on lighting, ensuring that our projects are illuminated to enhance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. This role involves collaborating with architects, interior designers, and engineers to develop and implement lighting plans for various types of buildings and spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Planning:
• Develop innovative lighting designs that enhance the architectural integrity of projects.
• Create detailed lighting plans, specifications, BoQ and layouts for both interior and exterior spaces.
• Ensure that lighting designs comply with local codes and regulations.
• Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with architects, interior designers, and electrical engineers to integrate lighting solutions into overall project designs.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for lighting in their spaces.
• Attend project meetings and provide input on lighting design and implementation.
• Technical Expertise:
• Conduct site visits to assess existing lighting conditions and recommend improvements.
• Utilize lighting design software and tools (such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Dialux) to create and modify lighting plans.
• Evaluate and select appropriate lighting fixtures, controls, and technologies to achieve desired effects and energy efficiency.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Prepare and present lighting design concepts and plans to clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of lighting systems to ensure they meet design specifications.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Professional certification or licensure in architecture or lighting design is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months - 5 years of experience in architectural lighting design.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles.
• Proficiency in lighting design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and other relevant tools.
• Knowledge of lighting technologies, fixtures, and control systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
