Job Description


Overview:This role is an DSO IT SME for Supply Planning Network Optimization, a substream within the Forecast To Schedule Process (integrated supply chain planning) as defined by the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT).
This role has the accountability of production support for the FLNA FTS DRP/MPS solution including solution issue resolution in order to support the business, batch issue resolution, continuous improvements, leveraging knowledge of SAP IBP Network Optimization as well as integration, data, analytics.
Core Level-3 FTS Processes covered:
Supply Planning Network Optimization

  • Develop Supply Plan - Tactical Capacity Planning for Internal and External Manufacturers
  • Execute Ad-Hoc Scenario Analysis
  • Execute Annual Operating Plan Process
  • Maintain and Load Tactical Capacity Planning Data
  • Measure and Monitor - Network Optimization
  • Publish Tactical Capacity Supply and Semi-Finished Good Plan Responsibilities:
Act as the DRP/MPS IT subject matter expert for the solutions being delivered within the end to end FTS Supply/ DRP process
  • Resolve production support incidents, including issue investigation, identifying breakfix, testing, production implementation and post migration validation of the breakfix.
  • Drive and support the lead for DRP/MPS continuous improvements
  • Provide support to the lead in improving DSO KPIs pertinent to DRP/MPS including batch SLAs.
  • Understand process interdependencies and ensure the design of fully integrated process solutions within FTS - example integrated process with Demand Planning and Supply Planning
  • Perform Quarterly IBP Upgrade regression testing, explore and adopt enhancements that are value-add to the business
  • Understand and following the DSO process

Years of experience:C2
  • Bachelors degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience required
  • 10 to 12 years of experience configuring, deploying and production support of SAP IBP with a focus on IBP Supply
Mandatory Tech Skills:
  • IT Expertise in SAP IBP DRP/MPS submodules of SAP IBP across multiple business units and lines of business (Snack, Beverage, Food)
  • Experience in SAP IBP DRP/MPS solution evaluations and application in planning and scheduling processes
  • Familiarity or exposure to DRP/MPS models and understanding and usage of statistical algorithms
  • Understanding of master data needed for DRP/MPS
  • Familiarity or exposure to business and technical processes of Network Optimization, DRP/MPS, Inventory Optimization, Demand Planning and Replenishment Planning processes
  • Experience with Supply Chain Planning for large projects and programs
Mandatory Non Tech Skills:
  • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers, resolving very difficult and sensitive issues effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Prior experience in working matrix organization and handling multiple stakeholders would be added advantage
  • Intellectually curious with a strong desire to learn
  • IT leadership experience with supply planning projects
  • Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: ServiceNow, SAP Charm, SAP SolMan 7+, Azure Dev Ops, Quality Center and MS Project
  • Solves highly complex problems within their work team
  • Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences
  • Adaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
  • Consulting background a plus
  • Experience with TCP, DRP, MPS as roles within the business
  • Experience in cross functional roles preferred
