Job Description

The architect / Engineering Manager for mobile Apps will be responsible for optimizing user experience,
implementing robust mobile architectures, and ensuring seamless cross-platform functionality. Adept at
collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering innovative solutions to meet business objectives, this
role involves\xef\x82\xb7 Developing and executing the overall strategy, design and Architecture for B2C
and B2B Mobile applications , including defining the product roadmap, feature
prioritisation, and delivery timelines.
\xef\x82\xb7 Accountable for the design, for the ease of evolution, quality of the systems,
performance, observability, scaling, and availability characteristics and
limitations of the systems.
\xef\x82\xb7 Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management,
and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and integration.
\xef\x82\xb7 Design, optimize and integrate complex mobile application with distributed
backend microservices ensuring they are scalable, secure, and performant.
\xef\x82\xb7 Enhancing the operational efficiencies, devising innovative solutions and
leveraging the IT platform to create business differentiators.
\xef\x82\xb7 Establishing and enforcing best practices for software development, quality
assurance, and project management to ensure successful and timely delivery
of the IT applications.
\xef\x82\xb7 Architecting and designing apps using native controls, UI frameworks,
interface builders, and event handling.
\xef\x82\xb7 Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the technology
space, and identifying opportunities to enhance and innovate the platforms.
\xef\x82\xb7 Drive code and design reviews of components / systems / products in scope
and drive the architectural governance for them.
\xef\x82\xb7 Strategizing & driving the projects covering areas of automation/process
improvements, performance improvement, capacity upgrades, technology
refresh.
\xef\x82\xb7 Implement mechanisms to monitor and manage progress, milestones, and
risks associated with the Mobile App development and implementation.
\xef\x82\xb7 Leading and managing a team of developers, designers, and support engineers
responsible for building and maintaining the Mobile applications.
\xef\x82\xb7 mentor and guide the team members with design patterns, developing
reusable artifacts/frameworks, re-usable assets development.
\xef\x82\xb7 Managing vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and service-
level agreements with third-party providers.
