Job Title: Junior Architect

Job Summary:

A Junior Architect assists in the design and development of architectural projects by creating technical drawings, models, and other design documentation. They work under the guidance of senior architects, supporting them with project planning, design development, and site coordination. This entry-level role provides opportunities for hands-on experience in all aspects of architecture, from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Support: Assist senior architects in developing design concepts and architectural drawings.

2. Drafting & Documentation: Prepare detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and visual presentations using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).

3. Site Visits: Assist in conducting site surveys and inspections to gather data and ensure designs are being implemented correctly.

4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that designs and documentation adhere to relevant building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.

5. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.

6. Client Interaction: Participate in meetings with clients to understand their needs, present design concepts, and discuss project progress.

7. Research: Conduct research on new materials, construction techniques, and industry trends to support design decisions.

8. Project Coordination: Help manage timelines, assist with project documentation, and ensure that all project deliverables are met on schedule.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture.

Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino).

Basic knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and construction practices.

Strong creativity and attention to detail.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Ability to work under the guidance of senior architects and handle multiple tasks.

Work Environment:

Junior Architects typically work in an office environment with occasional site visits. They work closely with senior architects and other team members to assist in delivering high-quality designs and successful project outcomes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?28,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
