Then you might be the Production Head ,we are looking for!The Head of Production will Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations frameworkWhat is the job about?Responsible for the performance of APU (Autonomous Production Unit) through task guidance, coaching, direction setting and motivation of the workforceMaintain good relationship with teams and best in class working environment.Achieving organizational goalsYour main responsibilities:Responsible for implementing \xe2\x80\x9cSafety first\xe2\x80\x9d culture in shop floor area and ensure all should complying with usage of PPE\'s. Building plant CSR, sustainability and DE&I agenda in shopfloor.

• Ensure that APU team understands the strategy and direction for the plant, and initiate actions.
• Train and develop APU team in order to achieve results, continuous improvement and follow the standards
• Responsible for complying with daily production plan and delivery on time
• Give input and supports to MPS
• Ensure employees know their roles and responsibilities and train them on production skills in various products, testing, quality, and maintenance.
• Ensure maximum utilization of resources and direct labour efficiency
• Use quality tools and quick response to quality deviations, Take corrective action to avoid repeated deviation.
• Ensure necessary Training to the operators is delivered and maintain 5S in shop floor
• Support operation in new Production plan, and in testing and implementing new products and CI/Quality tools
• Deploy Grundfos Production System
• Responsible for updated Totem board and efficient DAM meetings, and updated results and targets on APU and Plant DAM boards
• Effectively work with EMS results and deploying action plans to ensure motivation of APU.
• Deploy Lean Manufacturing culture in shop floor
• To assign goals and ensure the goals are delivered
• Role model for Code of conduct.

Your background:

• Engineering background // around 10-15 years of production, manufacturing or operational experience
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process standards (demonstrated)
• Working knowledge on 5S, Kanban, Productivity Improvements and Value Stream mapping processes
• Knowledge of SPC and production planning
• Hands on with quality problem solving tools
• Knowledge of IIOT 4.0 (Industrial Internet of Things) and shop-floor digitisation
• Ability to develop EHS and Sustainability agenda (demonstrated)
• Knowledge / work experience with an ERP system would be good
