:About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use): 05About the Apprentice Role:Duration:- 11 MonthsTitle- ApprenticeThe Team:CARM (Content Acquisition & Rights Management) supports the sourcing and licensing of 3rd party content used to power S&P Global\'s products and services, and subsequent management of those data supply relationships for and on behalf of \xe2\x80\x9cCARM\'s Internal Clients\xe2\x80\x9d: optimizing data contracts and associated spend, facilitating data sharing across the organization, and taking an active part in data governance initiatives (rights management, audit management and risk mitigation).CARM\'s Internal Clients are S&P Global (Corporate) and associated business groups: Sustainable1 and Kensho, and 4 of SPGI\'s divisions: S&P Global Ratings, S&P Global Market Intelligence, S&P Global Commodity Insights and S&P Global Mobility.The CARM team sits within the Corporate group. CARM and MDA (Market Data Administration) personnel are in New York (NY) and Princeton (NJ), Andover (MA), Boulder (CO), London, Paris, Essen, Hong Kong, Gurgaon and Bangalore, and support all geographic regions in which CARM\'s Internal Clients conduct business. Centralization of these efforts enables CARM to leverage the scale of S&P Global, create efficiencies, eliminate redundancies, reduce 3rd party content/services costs, and better manage risk.You will join a team of industry experts who will work with you to accelerate your development.   • You will have the opportunity to experience a high-level of collaboration across geographically spread over stakeholders. We have a collaborative, global, quality Market Data Operations team that is accustomed to helping one another learn and excel while working to continuously improve the level of quality delivered to our internal and external stakeholders.
ResponsibilitiesThe candidate is expected to:
  • Collect, synthesize and record contractual and related data into financial inventory management tools.
  • Cleanse, refine and standardise inventory management data.
  • Researching, Identifying and organizing contractual agreements into repositories based on established record keeping structures.
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders across geographies.
  • Recording and reconciliation all Market Data invoice information in inventory tracking system - Optimize Spend.
  • Validate and Process vendor invoices using Optimize Spend and internal A/P systems.
  • Create Purchase Orders for invoice payments as needed.
  • Monitor and respond to vendor inquiries on invoice payment status in a timely manner.
  • Input information from Contracts into Optimize Spend.
  • Use internal tools to track invoice frequency and payment status.
  • Process requests to add, cancel or re-assign licensed services due to terminations or changes within the business.
What We\'re Looking For:Required Qualifications:
  • Fresher - Commerce and Finance Graduate. Post Graduate will be an advantage.
  • Skilled on Excel, Macro, Power
  • Knowledge of Financial Markets including Stock Exchanges and Market Data.
  • Knowledge of contractual agreements and clauses.
  • Understanding of legal terms of data agreements.
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications.
  • Keen to learn data inventory management tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to produce clear, concise and detailed documentation.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Willing to work in in a 1-10 pm shift from office - Regular
