Join us in shaping the future of technology and engineering solutions on a global scale.Position SummaryPosition Summary and Locationxc2xb7 In this role, the Apprentice Lab Technician is responsible to assist the team of Test Engineers and Lab Technicians in planning and executing various testing scopes at the Global Reliability Test Center.xc2xb7 In this role the apprentice will be involved hands-on with all the testing activities under mechanical, electrical and electronic domains.xc2xb7 This position is based in Chandigarh, and strictly based at the test centerxc2xb7 We support professional development goals through further education and certifications.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDuties and ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL

• Assists the test engineers in the setting up tests, execution and collection of data.
• Assists in operating the various test equipment like environmental chamber, vibration shaker etc.
• Assists in routine operation, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Assists in maintaining hardware lab equipment like oscilloscopes, microscopes, strain gauges, and accelerometers
• Assists in procurement of all laboratory tools and supplies from local markets.
• Arranges support as required in maintenance and recalibration mechanical and electronic equipment, tools and instrumentation.
• Assists in performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical supply panels and switchgears
• Manages log entries of lab inventory usage and/or issuance to projects.
• Assists in maintaining library of operations and user manuals of equipment in the labs.
• Perform all other duties as requested, directed or assigned
• Demonstrates high level of initiative to accomplish individual objectives assigned as well as team goals
• Comply to organizational HR and HSSE policies and procedures

• Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
• Limited exposure to airborne dust in the workplace
