Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver top-quality dishes
• Develop and curate innovative menus that reflect our rich culinary heritage
• Oversee food stock management to ensure freshness and minimize wastage
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen
• Manage kitchen staff schedules and provide ongoing training
• Collaborate with management to ensure restaurant profitability
• Monitor food costs and implement strategies to optimize efficiency
• Ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served
• Drive customer satisfaction through culinary excellence

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• In-depth knowledge of North Indian, Punjabi, Bengali, and Continental cuisines
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• A creative and innovative approach to menu development
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Strong understanding of kitchen financials and stock management

Position: Apprentice Chef

Location: Sher-E-Punjab Hotel Restaurant and Bar, Hill Cart Road, near Junction Bus Stand, Siliguri

• Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team in meal preparation and presentation
• Learn and execute recipes to ensure consistency and quality
• Help manage food stock and inventory
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
• Participate in training and development programs
• Support in monitoring food costs and kitchen efficiency
• Contribute ideas for new dishes and menu enhancements
• Uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
