Key Responsibilities:
• Kitchen Assistance:
• Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
• Support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards.
• Learn basic cooking techniques and culinary fundamentals through hands-on training.
• Menu Support:
• Assist in the execution of menu items, following recipes and instructions from the senior chef.
• Participate in menu planning sessions, offering creative input and ideas for new dishes.
• Gain exposure to diverse cuisines and cooking styles by working on a variety of menu items.
• Designing product training material for all the new product/menu development with the help of senior chef
• Learning and Development:
• Shadow experienced chefs during working hours to observe kitchen dynamics and workflow.
• Receive ongoing training and mentorship from culinary professionals, learning new skills and techniques.
• Seek opportunities for self-improvement and skill development through practice and feedback.
• Food Safety and Hygiene:
• Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices to ensure the safety and quality of food products.
• Learn proper food handling techniques, including temperature control, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment and workstations.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to support efficient operations and timely service.
• Communicate effectively with team members, asking questions and seeking clarification when needed.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn, contributing to a supportive and cohesive work environment.
