This individual will be involved in the delivery of testing, enhancing, and implementing software solutions within Pratt & Whitney\xe2\x80\x99s DW2W2C Portfolio, as well as integrations with other enterprise products.Career growth opportunities include access and exposure to technical and functional experts, business operations, and to leadership/executives. This position offers an opportunity to network with technical professionals and build relationships within the organization by being on the front lines of developing technology.The Digital Aftermarket Services team at Pratt and Whitney is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who will be excited in delivering digital solutions within our DW2W2C Portfolio as it relates to supporting our aftermarket operations worldwide. Specific focus includes the development of enhancements to our systems and troubleshooting production and preproduction system changes.Education / Certifications:\xc2\xb7 BS degree and 3 to 6 years\' experience required; or Advanced degree and 2 years of experience required. Preferred fields of study include Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related.Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for .NET, Angular, and SQL-based applications.\xc2\xb7 Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure product quality.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand the requirements and acceptance criteria.\xc2\xb7 Perform regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing as needed.\xc2\xb7 Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team for continuous improvement.\xc2\xb7 Document defects and track issues to resolution using bug tracking tools.\xc2\xb7 Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.\xc2\xb7 Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.\xc2\xb7 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in software testing with a focus on .NET, Angular, and SQL-based applications.\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing techniques.\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and verification.\xc2\xb7 Experience with testing frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, Jasmine, or Protractor.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for code management.\xc2\xb7 Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, preferably with tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to aid in frontend testing.\xc2\xb7 Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.\xc2\xb7 Understanding of security testing principles and experience with security testing tools.\xc2\xb7 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\xc2\xb7 Proven ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.RTX is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
