Your Role

• Following the brand mission of VIN & SVD, generating sustainable & profitable growth of Leybold brands, by highest level application development, management, and support
• Providing Technical support to sales team in both industrial and scientific vacuum.
• Extending high level support for complex and challenging technical queries received from customers, with an aim to offer them satisfactory technical clarification with a clear focus on value selling proposition.
• Developing new technical solutions keeping sustainability in mind, for promising vacuum applications of future markets in close cooperation with Market Sector Management by theoretical and practical investigation of pumps\' operation conditions.
• Prepare and distribute new knowledge and impart training to internal Sales and Service team on products and their application in various market sectors.
• Support New product introduction (NPI) process.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Leading technical presentations and communicating to customers related to product offering and applications therein with an aim to promote value selling.
• Work in close coordination with the Technical Support Head for Leybold South Asia.

To succeed, you will need

• Sophisticated technical background - excellent technical understanding of process engineering, thermodynamics and electronics of products. Must have a sound knowledge to understand the industrial processes.
• Master or above degree with 3-5 years technical experience in working in interdisciplinary teams, or graduating Doctor/Master degree (major in process engineering, Physics, chemical engineering or material science preferred)
• Competence in intercultural cooperation, fluent English speaking and understanding.
• Excellent professional English ability, able to read and write professional documents.
• Very good documentation and presentation skills
• Teamwork spirit combined with initiative and consciousness.
• Location: India, preferred city Bangalore.
• Moderate travel anticipated - to local customers.
