The Applications Team Lead will be a part of a global team creating new solutions as well as improving existing solutions for Koch Industries. Koch Global Services India (KBSI/KGSI) has been developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function. This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground floor and will play a critical part in helping to build KBSI/KGSI over the next several years. Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant global exposure to the employees.

Our Team

Applications Team Lead will report to the Software Engineering Manager of KBSI/KGSI (KBXT Team) and will be responsible for providing leadership to create valuable solutions for KBXT and the customers. The Applications Team Lead will measure outcomes and direct the applicable action. The Applications Team Lead will be responsible for application solutions delivered from the KBSI/KGSI and will manage Application resources located in the KGSI. The Applications Team Lead will be responsible for the performance and development of talent in the KGSI Applications Team. The Applications Team will work closely with their global counterparts on enterprise-wide delivery.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the designated KBXT Team aligned with MBM principles. Select, develop and retain the right people. Acquire, share, and apply knowledge. Motivate each employee.
  • Partner with Functional Leads/product owners to continually evaluate and improve processes to maximize team efficiencies, ensure a positive consumer experience, high level of collaboration and ensure adequate staffing to meet changing customer demands,
  • Drive the innovation and experimentation on the team for long term success.
  • Operate autonomously to drive actions based on strategic alignment to the team\'s long-term vision.
  • Continually evaluate and improve processes and procedures to maximize team efficiencies.
  • Partner with other service owners, team leaders and peers to improve processes and identify new service opportunities .
  • Continuously learn our Company\'s PBM Culture and propagate its application across the global team as a culture carrier.
  • Identify, assess, and work to close gaps in each team member\'s development areas to allow them to contribute at progressively higher levels
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across business groups supported; effectively handle and resolve customer escalations in a timely manner.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor\'s/master\'s degree in computer science/information technology with 10+ years of overall IT experience. Strong people and stakeholder management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in leadership roles to manage a team size of close to 8-10 members or more. Having experience in technically managing enterprise-wide solutions projects on .Net based full stack solutions.
  • Having 7+ Experience in developing and hands on coding on .net based full stack technologies
  • Understanding of Agile principles & coding
  • 2+ years of experience leveraging AGILE practices.
  • Strong relationship building and management skills.
  • Effective communication skills across a range of audiences
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment with a diverse workforce.
  • Strong desire to own the development and career path direction of team.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with minimal direction.
  • Strong initiative with the ability to seek out opportunities that can create additional value for the organization.
  • Experience in leading & driving complex projects successfully to closure.
  • Strong decision making, critical thinking, organizational and analytical skills.
