We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

• To provide end to end application / Production support with customer query interaction / resolution.
• Contribution to system improvement with Monitoring tools like GENEOS, AppDynamics, Jenkin Pipeline.
• Responsible for monitoring the production Application and servers, scheduled jobs, incident management, problem management and receiving incidents and requests from end-users, analyzing them and responding to the end user with a solution or escalating it to the other IT teams as required.
• Expected to respond to the alerts within SLA to meet the regulatory requirements.
• Need to manage ticket queue and resolve in a timely manner. Develop and maintain accurate technical and user documentation.
• Troubleshoot minor and major system problems in a timely manner and escalate to Dev team support when necessary.
• Ready to work in UK shifts and Rotation based weekend support in UK hours.(No night shifts)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge
• UNIX / Linux / Shell scripting
• Basic knowledge of DataStage.
• Strong communication skills and documentation skills
• Fluent in English, good communication and writing skills for direct interaction with globally spread businesses and IT stakeholders.
• Quick learner and work independently on production issue after knowledge transfer, having Positive attitude.
• Production support/Application support experience in Java /Oracle based applications support.WebSphere/WebLogic and Java knowledge
• Knowledge of cloud platform, e.g GCP, AWS, Azure is a plus.Additional Knowledge of Splunk and AppDynamics will be a plus
