The specialist is responsible for upgrading the underlying hardware/software for different businesses within the firm. The specialist should have working experience with infrastructure upgrades, be aware of the setting up and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools, perform thorough analysis in the QA/non-prod environment by code check-ins and troubleshoot issues when migrating to new infrastructure. The specialist is responsible to test, release, update and perform production deployments using CI/CD tools following the software release guidelines by adhering to change management process.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to understand and debug Java-based applications
• Ability to make changes, test and deploy to existing Java-based application
• Analyze user requirements to influence application design.
• Given the requirements, must be able to define application objectives and functionality.
• Align application design with business goals.
• Develop and test software. Must be familiar with testing tools
• Debug and resolve technical problems that arise during testing, release etc.
• Must be detailed oriented in their approach
• Must be able to identify inefficiencies, design issues in the existing Java infrastructure.
• Must be familiar with using the CI/CD tools
• Must strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Mentor and guide junior team members
• Monitor and measure customer experience and KPIs
• Manage periodic reporting to give project update to the management and the customer
