Job OverviewWe are seeking a mid-level Application Support Specialist to join our client team in Bangalore. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring our software solutions are operating efficiently. The candidate should possess strong skills in Unix (mandatory skill) and troubleshooting (mandatory skill).Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in troubleshooting various technical issues efficiently (mandatory skill).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Unix environments, including command line and scripting (mandatory skill).
• Strong debugging skills, capable of identifying and resolving complex issues effectively.
• Experience in any one of the programming skills - java/python/javascript
• Ability to write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and support tasks.
• Experience working with Bash and Shell scripting for system and application management.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.

• Provide ongoing technical support to clients, addressing their needs promptly and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Perform debugging activities to identify and correct software defects.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of software solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with development teams to recommend improvements and enhancements.
• Write and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and other scripting languages.
• Document support activities and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in application support and IT services.
