Job Summary: If you are a Technical Support professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Pune, India location, you will be involved in technical support of Emerson MES Syncade customers and work closely with customer and internal development team to diagnose complex Syncade issues. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Provide technical support to customers and evaluators, including installation troubleshooting, product configuration assistance, hardware and operating troubleshooting relating to product operation, and addressing improper product operation or erroneous system use Design, develop and test the Emerson MES product Syncade.
  • Work closely with customer and internal software development team to diagnose complex software product issues.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application processes and system resources to ensure compliance with key system performance indicators.
  • Develop methods and gather technical data to reproduce customer issues and communicate requirements efficiently to development team.
  • Ensure compliance with defined service level agreements.
  • Execute and improve functional, performance, and non-regression tests. Implement innovative techniques to optimize and reduce troubleshooting time.
  • Document technical knowledge and solutions in the form of manuals.
  • Prioritize and manage several customer issues at one time.
Who You Are: You develop and gather technical data to troubleshoot product issues that meet the customer expectations. You provide technical support to Syncade customers and evaluators. You ensure compliance with defined service level agreements. For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Minimum 2 yearsof proven experience in the manufacturing environment.
  • Be able and willing to learn new technologies to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical and customer issues and queries.
  • Great teammate who builds and maintains positive team member relations.
  • Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities.
  • Possess strong analytical skills.
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer.
  • Ability to devise solutions to problems independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
  • Good knowledge in various database software like SQL Server, Configuration
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports, Scripting, IIS is a plus.
