Application Resiliency Engineer - Senior Associate Who we are looking for:




AIS production Support is seeking smart motivated individual to take the role of Level 1 /Level2 Application support related to hedge funds specific to Interactive General Ledger Systems support and operations. (accounting & reporting). Monitoring production environments, Address application issues that come via tickets, emails, phone calls and automated alerts. Deploy applications to UAT and production environments. Understand the application within AIS Suite.




What you will be responsible for :-




1. Resolve daily accounting and system/application issues.


2. Communicate daily with various members within the company to ensure proper production support.


3. Act as and liaison between the developers and the users in explaining accounting concepts for new reports or system enhancements


4. Train users on the basic functions of the accounting software and it's related applications


5. Reproduce production problems by testing in beta/test environment prior to release into production


6. Work closely with developers to test enhancements and upgrades.




These skills will help you succeed in this role (Mandatory):


• Unix utilities, scripting & basic commands.
• Proficiency in writing PL/SQL queries
• Experience with tools Autosys / ServiceNow / Geneos / Dynatrace / Splunk etc.
• Debugging Java logs , debugging stored procedures in Sybase or Oracle database, debugging report logics.
• Unix & windows server.
• Apache & Tomcat server.
• Technical expertise to investigate different app logs.
• Investigating issues with up and downstream connections.
• Issue / Incident / Problem / Change / Release Management.
• UAT environment support & testing .
• Working with vendor support (creating cases and following up).



Education & Preferred Qualifications:


• 3-6 years as a Application Production Support /SRE Engineer



Additional requirements:


• Excellent communications skills - both verbal and written
• Able to work with little to no supervision in technical realm
• High level of self-motivation
• Works well in teams of technical and non-technical people
• Positive attitude toward learning new things technical and non-technical



Mode: Hybrid


Shift: Rotational shift (5:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.) and (1:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.)
