Job Description

The application engineer associate is an important member of the India Climate team for export business developments.Design & testing of electrical motor (single /3phase Induction & BLDC) and adding improvement to existing products using electrical machine design knowledge. Optimizes designs of components and products with guidance on manufacturability, quality and cost with a strong understanding of design tools and methods. Must have electronics subject (Power Electronics, Digital electronics & Analogue Electronics) understanding to support BLDC product development as well. Assists in capturing voice of customer and development of product specifications. Translates customer needs to manufacturing requirements. Creates test plans and develops new test protocol for products or components, with a basic understanding of reliability and failure mechanisms. The role requires engineering leadership in supporting the various product development to serve HVAC application & USA transition products.Major Responsibilities:Supporting development actives of induction & BLDC motors. CFT team coordination for the component planning & proto building. Testing & validation of proto & retaining test reports in define engineering record locations. Document preparation for sample dispatch & bill of material preparation for all proto developed. Material cost out ideas to support VCP projects. Manufacturing trials & co-ordination for the new product launch.Other Key Responsibilities:
