Position Title: APPLICATION ENGINEER - I

Brief Description :
This job involves understanding the customer and application requirement and provide best solution by selecting appropriate coupling and spares along with techno commercial quotation. Individual has to work with customer service, manufacturing, sales and engineering to process quotes and orders. Position is responsible for knowing the RegalRexnord coupling portfolio with an emphasis on torsional soft and/or elastomeric mechanical power transmission couplings. The person will work with manufacturing to determine machining, balancing and material requirements. The candidate preferred shall be familiar with AGMA, DIN, ISO, API, ASTM, and similar industrial standards. Must be able to read and interpret Engineering GA drawings.
(JD)• Review and analysis of customer's technical specifications and applications to provide product selection with necessary options and accessories.
• Estimate Pricing, Co-ordinate with manufacturing Engineering to get product pricing for ETO orders, maintain Pricing database.. etc.
• Develop technical specification and Provide quotation for selected coupling or Coupling Spares.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, account executives and customers.


o Provide solutions to technical questions and advise with regards to the products. o Provide techno-commercial product presentations at customers.• Capable to communicate with customers at all levels.
• Determine feasibility of design modifications for non-standard Configurations.
• Analyze and modify existing Coupling designs.
• Coordinate large project inquiries and quotations, which may include a multitude of RegalRexnord products.
• Interact with global cross functional teams in the company in obtaining information for quotations.
• Assist in training field representatives and new employees.
• Maintain performance metrics, corrective and preventive actions.
• Capable to read and understand drawings.
• Capable to work to get overlap with US time zone.


Job Specification:• Education - Bachelor's in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
• Experience in Application Engineering/Product engineering/Technical Sales with 1 to 3 years.
• Good to have knowledge of SAP/Oracle/Other ERP & Salesforce.
• Good in English communication o Good analytical and Interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS-Office package and conversant with CAD.
