As a center of excellence for best practices in Data Engineering, Web Application Development, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, and Business Intelligence, the team brings together data from customer contact centers, client benefit design/install, provider solutions/network operations, print/digital communications, and beyond in novel ways to provide actionable insights to business partners ranging from front-line Prior Authorization Representatives and Patient Care Advocates to Senior Leadership. By turning data into information, and information into insight, we passionately strive to make the operational services provided by Cigna/Evernorth to customers, clients, and providers the safest, most efficient, most convenient, and most trusted in the world.The Software Engineering Advisor will provide web development support for our projects. They will be responsible for helping plan, develop, and deploy web-based solutions in support for Cignas Enterprise Operations. They will be responsible for partnering with key players in Customer Service, Client Service, Provider Service, and Workforce Planning, while drawing on support from Technology, Finance, Strategy, Operational Readiness, and Solutions Delivery. & Responsibilities:

• Work with Enterprise Operations Analytics Leadership, Information Technology, as well as internal customers to design and implement platform-level enhancements delivering improved ease-of-use, new developer-empowering features
• Enable the delivery of interactive, data-driven applications to enhance throughput, reduce cost, and improve quality within Enterprise Operations.
• Enhance / troubleshoot existing infrastructure and applications to support evolving business needs.
• Attain and share subject matter expertise in the platform itself, the Information Technology infrastructure on which it depends, as well as the business processes and outcomes it seeks to improve.
• Proactively conduct root-cause analyses and identify and implement enhancement opportunities associated with the supported platform and its component applications.
• Present results and/or recommendations to internal stakeholders as needed.
• Create, communicate, and adhere to development timelines.
• Balance and prioritize projects across a wide development portfolio.
• Assist the team in opportunistically evolving and improving the overall technology stack.
• Maintain consistent focus on maximizing value delivered through team activity.

• 8-10 years of relevant software engineering experience

• Strong understanding of C#, .NET CORE
• Experience with Data Visualization JS libraries (Chart.js, ECharts, or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of with Angular 12 and above
• Strong understanding of Relational Databases (MSSQL, Oracle, etc)
• Experience with cloud (AWS, OpenShift)
• Experience with Containers and Container Orchestration (EKS, ECS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or equivalent)

• Experience with GIT
• Experience with Agile Methodology (Jirra or equivalent)

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and shift priorities
• Experience working with IT partners and coordinating releases, updates, and changes
• Experience in Healthcare, Pharmacy, Contact Center, and/or Print/Digital Communication
