Description:CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer Industry Packages opening for our client in Virginia.Location: Remote
Duration: 2 monthsDuties:Develop, test, and implement automation scripts and integrations within the Benchling platform using Python.Collaborate with scientists, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Benchling workflows.Customize and configure Benchlings industry packages to meet specific lab and research needs.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Benchling integrations and automations.Ensure best practices for code development, testing, and documentation are followed.Skills:Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience automating workflows and integrating APIs.Experience working with Benchling or similar cloud-based scientific data platforms.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON data structures.Ability to analyze and optimize existing scripts and processes.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Experience:3+ years of experience in application development, with recent experience working on automation or integrations within scientific research platforms.Previous experience with Benchling platform highly preferred.Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry is a plus.Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.CTG does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services for this role.To Apply:

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
