Know it matters. Python Application Developers are responsible for making application changes to provide the required IT services functionality. This includes the development and maintenance of custom applications as well as the customization of products from software vendors.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?xc2xb7 Able to code with Python and related technologies.xc2xb7 Work collaboratively with developers on other teams, internal and external, onshore, and offshore.xc2xb7 Estimate work requests at various levels of confidence.xc2xb7 Assist with technical analysis of solution design and prototype.xc2xb7 May assist in maintaining development standards for design, coding, etc.xc2xb7 Support resolution of defects during application testing phases.xc2xb7 May serve as a member of a Major Incident Team.xc2xb7 Implement and document change in accordance with an approved SDLC process and development standards including Development estimation.xc2xb7 Unit testing is conducted to ensure changes are of sufficient quality before system testing.xc2xb7 Providing product support, including technical oversight of problem determination, resolution, and root cause analysis as L3 support.xc2xb7 Support analysis and resolution of defects during application testing phases.xc2xb7 Proactively identify and communicate improvement opportunities.You will report to the Application Manager.QualificationsSHARE your talentWere looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Required Skills and Abilities:xc2xb7 Must have of relevant years hands-on development experience in C#, SQL, ASP.Net and .Net Frameworks, Visual Studio, SSMS, TFS/GIT, HTML5, Web API, JSON, XML and REST / WEB API.xc2xb7 Working knowledge of Python applications and deploying Flask Applications with Gunicorn and Nginx on RHEL.xc2xb7 Working knowledge of Pandas, Numpy, Gunicorn, and PIP packages.xc2xb7 Working knowledge of databases including SQL\MySQL.xc2xb7 Working knowledge of Python components with Web APIs.xc2xb7 Working knowledge of at least one of the modern web development frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, BootStrap, Ember etc. Angular is Preferred.Desired Skills and Abilities:xc2xb7 Knowledge of Security API interfaces (JWT, HMAC token etc).xc2xb7 Effective sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of the user experience.xc2xb7 Ability to work constructively in a team environment as well as resilently.xc2xb7 Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.xc2xb7 Knowledge / Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus.xc2xb7 Experience with Agile, SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps processes.xc2xb7 Hands-on experience with JIRA, Agile methodology, source code management - GIT, SVN, TFS etc.xc2xb7 Passionate about learning and working on new technologies.xc2xb7 Exposure to cloud technology (ideally Microsoft Azure) is desirable.xc2xb7 Experience working in a geographically distributed project team preferred.xc2xb7 Must possess good interpersonal skills, team-oriented, technically motivated and creative, user-oriented, self-self-driven with a desire to learn AXA XL's business.xc2xb7 Broad understanding of application development and support technologies.xc2xb7 Good verbal, written, and presentation skills.xc2xb7 Bachelors degree in the field of computer science, information systems, business management, or a related field requiredFIND your futureAXA XL, the P&C and speciality risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
