Role Description Satyukt Analytics is seeking a full-time on-site Android Developer to spearhead Mobile Application Development and software design with a specialized focus on Android. The role entails developing and maintaining mobile apps, contributing to new feature development, and collaborating closely with the team to optimize workflows and product quality. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code. Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Skills Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. Familiarity with Restful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch. Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Good experience in Android Studio. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. A knack for benchmarking and optimization. Understanding of Google\'s Android design principles and interface guidelines. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, firebase. Knowledge of postman or equivalent API testing tools. Familiarity with continuous integration Qualifications Experience in Mobile Application Development and Mobile Applications Proven experience in Android design and development Strong proficiency in software development Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with Git, Jira, and other related tools A Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Masters degree in relevant field will be preferred Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in the agriculture/BFSI sector and familiarity with the use of satellite data.
