JOB DESCRIPTION


• A highly skilled Application Architect with extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.


• Should have a deep understanding of financial services and payments domains and expertise in advanced technologies, software development practices, and cloud platforms.


• Involves close collaboration with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


ARCHITECTURE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT:

• Design and develop application architectures using Core Java, Java EE, and advanced frameworks.

• Define system designs that align with business objectives, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.


• Architect solutions leveraging event-driven and message queue architectures (e.g., Apache Kafka, Apache Pulsar, etc).


DOMAIN EXPERTISE:

• Implement solutions tailored to the financial services and payments domain, adhering to industry standards and regulatory compliance.

MICROSERVICES AND CLOUD:

• Design and implement microservices architectures with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).

• Deploy serverless computing models on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.


DEVOPS AND SDLC:

• Lead DevOps practices to enable CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and integration.

• Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.


SECURITY AND TESTING:

• Apply secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities.

• Advocate for and implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Test-Driven Design approaches.


DATABASE AND INTEGRATION MANAGEMENT:

• Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.

• Oversee system integrations, ensuring robust communication between systems.


TEAM COLLABORATION AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT:

• Lead technical teams in delivering complex projects, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

• Act as the liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of requirements and progress.


DOCUMENTATION AND GOVERNANCE:

• Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design specifications, security guidelines, and technical roadmaps.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:


TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java EE, and related frameworks.

• Expertise in cloud computing platforms and container orchestration tools.


• Solid experience in event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
