Job Description

About the internshipSelected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Design Assistance: Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative apparel designs, from concept sketches to final prototypes. Assist in fabric selection, color coordination, and trend analysis.
2. Research and Trend Analysis: Conduct market research to identify current fashion trends, materials, and consumer preferences. Compile mood boards and design inspiration for upcoming collections.
3. Technical Support: Assist in creating detailed tech packs, garment specifications, and CAD drawings for production. Work on pattern making, garment fittings, and alterations under the guidance of senior designers.
4. Fabric and Material Sourcing: Support the sourcing of fabrics, trims, and other materials. Liaise with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials for sample development.
5. Sample Development: Participate in sample creation, fitting sessions, and quality control. Provide feedback and suggest improvements for better fit and finish.Requirements:1. Strong sketching and illustration abilities.
2. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
3. Knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and pattern making.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
5. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Creative flair with a keen eye for detail.
