The architecture group within the office of the CTO at Wipro, is focused on creating and nurturing world class technical talent within the company and on providing technology direction to important Wipro and client initiatives.
Wipro is looking for an Enterprise Account Architect to be a customer facing member of this group. The account architect operates as a technology partner aligned with one or more strategic customer accounts.
Partnering with account executive, the Enterprise Account Architect works as a trusted technology advisor for the customer across wide range of technologies and providing technical thought leadership, innovative and strategic ideas and guidance to important technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
Influence customer\xe2\x80\x99s technology agenda as a technology thought leader and help drive stakeholder consensus around transformation roadmaps
Act as a catalyst for change and innovation working closely with Wipro practice teams and CTO office to advocate innovative solutions and recommend investments in specific technologies that best align with customer\xe2\x80\x99s business needs
Develop deeper understanding of customer\xe2\x80\x99s business/IT landscape and focus on their business challenges and goals, engaging early and proactively to position Wipro in the problem and solution definition phases of the life cycle
Become a trusted advisor to CIO/CTO and other technology and business executives in customer organization and establish near and long-term relationships with key stakeholders
Recommend evolution of the application portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives, trends across maturing and emerging technologies, and key business and IT initiatives
Provide technical leadership to project teams in translating business requirements into detailed architectural specifications, making technology and implementation choices and developing practical implementation plans for projects across a broad range of technology domains
Lead, and provide specialized technical guidance to strategic projects addressing complex engineering challenges
Maintain awareness of technology trends in the industry and broader aspects of the vertical market the customer participates in to provide forward thinking insights and recommendations
Develop thought leadership presentations/white papers to be distributed across the account
Craft and deliver influential C-level communications and deliver them with clarity, confidence, and passion

Qualifications:
Maintain awareness of technology trends in the industry and broader aspects of the vertical market the customer participates in to provide forward thinking insights and recommendations.
Develop thought leadership presentations/white papers to be distributed across the account.
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines.
18+ years of experience in software engineering or technical product roles of increasing scope and complexity with a focus on software architecture, design, development, and operation of complex software or IT systems, products, and platforms with demonstrated technology thought leadership.
Experience in working at large enterprises and/or technology and internet companies like Microsoft, Amazon (AWS), or Google building global scale software systems.
Knowledge of multiple current and emerging technology areas and applicable software products, tools, processes, methodologies, standards, and frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to guide and contribute to building business cases, define architectures, processes, and measurements for achieving business and technology objectives.
Rich practicing experience and deep expertise in designing and building large scale distributed, web and n-tier systems with microservices, serverless, and AI/ML.
Experience of working in complex organizational environment and large-scale transformation program(s).
Experience of leading and delivering architecture led initiatives demonstrating clear value and outcome in line with organizational goals.
Demonstrated ability to define and deliver technology blueprint for large and complex transformational programs or engineering projects.
Experience in guiding, influencing, and advising senior stakeholders (C-level executives and senior technology leaders) on technology decisions and co-creating architectural strategies and transformation roadmaps.
Ability to work with and guide presales/bid teams in shaping technology architectural led opportunities and crafting winning propositions.
Excellent leadership skills and strong, demonstrated execution capability with an ability to manage multi-disciplinary issues and decisions.
Strong understanding of the banking or financial industry sector globally and in country markets such as India. Experience in implementation of core banking will be an added advantage.
Ability to work with distributed virtual teams and complex technical and business environment.
Effective relationship building, internal and external collaboration and facilitation skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting at large conferences
