Job Description

- Job Title: Apigee Developer
- Experience: 2-3 years in API development and management using Apigee or similar API management platforms
- Main Responsibilities: API development, API configuration, policy customization, Java framework development, CI/CD pipeline creation, implementation of security protocols, performance optimization, and documentation
- Required Skills: Proficiency in Apigee API configuration, Java for framework and backend development, familiarity with DevOps processes and CI/CD pipeline creation, knowledge of RESTful API principles and security protocols, experience with version control systems and API testing tools
- Preferred Skills: Experience with Apigee in a financial or banking domain setting, familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- The role includes designing, developing, deploying, and managing APIs using the Apigee API Gateway platform
- Candidates should be proficient in setting up API proxies, shared flows, and custom configurations
- The role involves developing and customizing Apigee policies to meet API requirements
- The candidate should be able to build and maintain Java-based frameworks and libraries that support API integrations and backend services
- The role requires setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for consistent and reliable API deployments across environments
- It involves implementing and enforcing security policies for secure API access
