HiGreetings of the Day.We have a critical opening with our client API Tester for Bangalore LocationExperience: 5+ yrsLocation: BangalorePayroll: CIEL HRMode of Employment: ContractJob descriptionKey Responsibilities:Work closely with development teams to understand API specifications and design effective strategies.Develop test cases and test server-side REST APIs using PostmanPrepare test reports and update test strategy or test cases whenever necessaryCreation and maintenance of API automation test scripts.Log and track detailed product defects.Essentials:

• Any graduate
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Good understanding of Manual testing concepts.
• Good understanding of REST API workflow, hands-on experience in API testing using POSTMAN.
• Experience in designing and developing API automation scripts using POSTMAN preferably.
• Experience with working on performance testing using JMeter
• Self-driven and must be able to collaborate with cross functional teams
• Ability to quickly understanding business requirements and proposing reference architectures and technology solutions.
• Ability to drive discussions with all stakeholders regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation.
• Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex material to wide range of audiences in plain language
• Ability to multi-task, manage projects, set time frames, and meet deadline.
• Ability to work as team player in a fast paced, and changing environment.

• Working experience for any BFSI client in past would be added advantage.
